Goodbye to my first Panama hat

Goodbye to my first Panama hat

Goodbye to my first Panama hat

Everyone who is familiar with me, knows that I’m not a “hat guy” — never have been.  I’ve always felt goofy wearing a hat.  But moving to Miami changed that feeling.

Just last year my dermatologist removed a very small carcinoma from my forehead and ever since, I’m now a hat guy.  But when I finally decided it was time to wear a hat, it was the easiest decision ever.  I had to have a Panama.

And after a year of daily wearing, I just gave away my first.  Sad to see you go but I’ve replaced you with an authentic real toquilla straw Panama (made in Ecuador).
