Shawna Nathman and Lenny Deyo from Plantation, FL were married on Sunset Pier in Key West last week and they hired me to do their wedding photography. What a beautiful bride and what picturesque setting! The whole event took place at the Ocean Key Resort and Spa located at 0 Duval Street in Key West. After their ceremony everyone walked down to “Sunset Pier” for the reception.
Here’s the best part. 45 minutes before the ceremony, it began raining…really hard. I mean pouring. But we were all optimistic and told Shawna….”Oh, this is just one of those Southern Florida afternoon showers…it’ll blow over.” And sure enough, when the ceremony started the sky was just gorgeous and they had the most amazing sunset ever. Perfect! In the photos, you’ll see an image of the entire pier and tent where the reception took place. How did I get that shot? I climbed onto the roof of the hotel across the street!

The flowers were done by Love in Bloom Florist and we had fun dance music provided by DJ Lobbo a.k.a. Anthony Parson.
