I photographed a gallery reception Saturday night at IRREVERSIBLE’s Art Space
gallery located next to Uva 69 Restaurant & Lounge
at 6900 Biscayne Blvd in Miami. The gallery is owned by the charismatic Noor Blazekovic who, with endless amounts of energy and enthusiasm for her work, is also the creator of the IRREVERSIBLE magazine and the Giants in the City
inflatable sculpture traveling exhibit. This is the gallery’s second exhibit and featured works by: PABLO CANO – ALEJANDRO MENDOZA – YOVANI BAUTA – CATHERINE TAFUR – LUCINDA LINDERMAN and SINUHE VEGA. This exhibit was filled to capacity when I was there with many art aficionados including Miami New Times art critic Carlos Suarez de Jesus, his dog Motica, Art Criticism Professor Dr. Alfredo Triff, Bobbi Namath, Lucinda Linderman, Kerry McLaney and Laraine Hart with Miami’s Independent Thinkers, Stephen Eisel, Ysee Gaudel, Alejandra Czarny, Monica Prandi, Karel Davis, Joseph & Sandra Marks, and visiting from Madison, Wisconsin Laurel Finn and Kelly Knueve.
Just above IRREVERSIBLE Art Space is Myra Wexler’s new studio that just opened and next to Myra’s space is La Boudoir Miami owned by Lauren Arkin and is “More than just vintage.”
