Musings with Myra Wexler at Wynwood Kitchen & Bar, November 16, 2011 – Miami, FL

//

Art enthusiast Myra Wexler has outdone herself again!

I first met Myra at a gathering hosted by Cuban marionette artist Pablo Cano and was immediately taken with her enthusiasm for the arts.  Simply put, Myra is a force.  At that dinner party, Myra told me about her monthly arts gatherings that she hosts called Musings with Myra and I started attending.  These gatherings have grown into large-scale events with prominent guest speakers from the arts community.  And last Wednesday was a special evening at the Wynwood Kitchen & Bar which included: a joint event with Kerry McKlaney of the Miami Independent Thinkers, the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) Alumni Association, guest speaker Emma Galler, Marketing Coordinator of the Adrienne Arsht Center and a guest appearance by New York City street artist NOBODY who was in Miami doing his artwork for the upcoming Art Basel Miami Beach.

Just some of the people in attendance were:  Gallery owner Dina Mitrani, Miami artist Alex Trimino, artist Miguel Rodez and Cindy Roesel who just finished writing a book and many, many others.
